EVANGELISM & OUTREACH

We want you to have many different opportunities to step out of your comfort zone a little and share the good news of Jesus Christ. This may be talking with someone about Jesus or simply showing the love of Christ to those around us. Below are a few events we have throughout the year where you can get involved and reach out to our community.

RED, WHITE & BOOM

Every year we hold our biggest outreach event during the 4th of July Water Parade in Pueblo West. Following the parade we provide games and give-a-ways at the park and tell people about our evening event. A few hours before the fireworks go off we have a huge carnival set up in our parking lot. Because the fireworks are set off right behind our building people come form all over and fill up the area. We provide bounce houses, trampoline jumps, water games, give-a-ways, live music and more. Its all FREE to the community. We do this to show the love of Christ to our city.

COATS FOR KIDS

Every Fall we as a church collect coats for the school district here in Pueblo County. Volunteers sign up to stand outside the Pueblo West Walmart and collect money to buy new coats or accept donations of gently used coats. We give away over 200 coats to needy kids so no child will be left cold in the winter.

MEAL PACK

We have started a new tradition at Oasis Church this past Fall. We provided and packed over 28,000 nutritious meals for the impoverished country of Haiti. We teamed up with Lifeline Missions to reach out to a country that is in desperate need of food and items we take for granted everyday here in America. In the fall of 2019 we are again going to team up with Lifeline and pack another 28,000 meals.

HOMELESS MINISTRY

The purpose of the Homeless Ministry at Oasis is to provide for those who are less fortunate. We collect clothing, personal hygiene items and food to give out to the homeless in our community. You can donate your items any Sunday morning at Connecting Point in the lobby of the church.
